Christmas Themed Wedding Invitations

Although a wedding is generally a very traditional ceremony, many couples hold the holiday of Christmas very dear to their hearts.  If you are one of these couples, then it might be a fun idea for you to have a Christmas themed wedding.  Now, although Christmas is only in December, it wouldn't be tacky to have a Christmas themed wedding any other time of the year.  After all, once Christmas is over, all people do is wait anxiously for Christmas to come again next December.  So why not bring it about a little sooner by having a Christmas themed wedding?  This type of wedding should very colorful, decorated with garlands and colors such as red, green, and white.  There could be stockings hung around room and mistletoe every few feet.  What would be very fun to do would be to have mistletoe directly above the bride and groom, so that when they kiss, they would kissing under the mistletoe.  The bride and groom could both be dressed in traditional wedding clothing: the bride in a long white dress and the groom in a tuxedo.  It would be fun to have the minister dressed up as Santa Claus, although some people might find this a little bit too much.  Invitations to a Christmas themed wedding could be very creative.  What you could do, rather than traditional wedding invitations, would be to send each person a Christmas stocking.  The stockings would have the person's name and in each stocking would be the wedding invitation.
